The Lust List - 16th November

Monday, November 21, 2011

Tulip Scalloped Skirt - New Look (£29.99) - All i can say is boy, New Look - you've upped your game.

Embellished Collar Shirt - Miss Selfridge (£39.00) - Clearly i'm going through a ridiculous sparkle and embellished faze, but in all honesty this shirt is far too pretty for words.

Best of the Minis - OPI (£27.50) - I'm a sucker for mini varnishes, and theres a distinct lack of OPI in my varnish collection, do i need any more excuses?

Fleece Foral Print Robe - Topshop (£36.00) - Crazy overpriced, but how cute? My own dressing gown is currently sporting a hair dye DIY dalmatian print masterpiece, whoops.

Brown Faux Fur Coat - Dorothy Perkins (£70.00) - Yes, i do already own fifty thousand coats already - including a faux fur one already - but its pretty hard to pull off leopard print fur when you live so close to East Croydon. I have however been eyeing this beautiful simple brown fur coat in Dorothy Perkins, i feel a splurge coming along.

Orgasm Lust Set - Nars (£22.00) - You can never have enough Nars, and you if don't shame on you. Although this is the perfect starter kit for any Nars virgin, as it houses their best sellers in a travel friendly duo, both Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer. Pretty much a steal at that price, especially with the added matching mini gloss.

Diamonds by the Yard necklace - Tiffanys (£160.00) -This wouldn't be a lust list without a sprinkle of Tiffanys, however - dainty diamonds really are a girls best friend.

Christmas Sock - Topshop (£3.50) - Who doesn't love a Christmas sock? I do hope they make a matching jumper.

Leather Tote Bag - Mui Mui (£695.00) - I need not justify this lust.

All About Cheeks Pallette - Nars (£45.00) - My uttermost favourite lust. Also putting an end to the pain staking qualms of traveling: 'Sarah do you need to take FOUR blushers with you on holiday?' Seriously swooning right now, amidst the confused face of baffled mother.

After being super super organised with my Christmas shopping, i literally only have to buy presents for the boyfriend, the hardest and most expensive of them all. Despite the fact we swapped Christmas gifts for the past eight years, boys are really hard to buy for. So while i type random boy interests into Amazon, i've decided to indulge in some serious online window shopping. These will probably make to on to my Christmas list (i have been ever so good this year), if i don't sneakily buy them in the mean time!

Loves a loosing game.

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

I haven't created a Lust List in forever, and what with the weather being slightly irrational i've been tempted by my chunky knitts - awful when i've just spent a fortune on buying a summer wardrobe! Alas, here is my rather bi-polar i-dont-know-if-its-summer-or-winter wish list..

Knee High Riding Boots - H&M (£29.99)

What an affordable staple for A/W, i love the two tone material and the 'slim' shape. Look perfect with tea dress, tights and oversized cardi.

Cable Knit Jumper - H&M (£24.99)

I could literally put this on right now, it looks so comfy. Worn with a floral skirt, black biker boots.

Navy Pansy Print Skirt - Topshop (£26.00)

I've bought a few similar skirts from TS in this style, really wearable and the price is rather, dare i say, amazing for Toppers? I don't know what i like more, the bow? the fact that its navy? or the oversized floral print?

Marlin Embellished Kipp Dress - Monsoon (£150.00)

Sadly this dress will have to stay firmly on my wish list, unless any one would kindly send me a wedding invitation, to say a reception in the south of France? Never the less, i adore the cut of the shift dress with the tuck waist, not to mention the idyllic turquoise shade and beautiful embellishment.

Peter Pan Embellished Blouse - Warehouse (£38.00)

The photos really don't give this beautiful blouse justice! It would amazing teamed with a high-wasited body con skirt and killer heels or black satin drainpipes.

Colour Block Slouchy Dress - Warehouse (£75.00)

I adore this dress! This was a major contender for a graduation dress, and i'm slightly sad i never bought it. Very tempted to sneakily buy it and save it for my birthday, in October ahem! The classic red and cream colour block dress is so simple and the gold belt just brings it all together, and who would have ever thought this was high-street? This dress looks fit for the red carpet!

Formal Bow Pleated Shift Dress - Oasis (£70.00)

This beautiful dress has been dubbed the Christmas dress, whats with all my forward wardrobe planning? It's pretty, sparkly and over all rather festive? Itching to be worn with thick black tights? Or tanned legs for a summer evening? I'm going crackers.

Gold Sequin Overlay Top - Topshop (£38.00)

This wouldn't be a true lust list without any kind of embellished blouse thrown in, one day, one day i will ignore my mothers advice about all the sequins falling off in the washing machine and buy one - daughter rebellion at it's best.

Nude Crop Waterfall Jacket - Topshop (£60.00)

Its nude, its simple, it has the perfect cut. I need it.

Knitted Belted Ribbed Jumper - Topshop (£28.00)

I'm rather uncertain as to why i'm drawn to this jumper. There is clearly another Man Men love affair at work here, the nipped in belt, its so prim and proper, and a bit sickening, but that doesn't stop me adding it promptly to my virtual basket.

Burgundy Chinos - Topshop (£36.00)

After declaring i was strictly a no trousers kinda girl, i am somewhat converted to the art of the chino. Cue the horror of said boyfriend and Grandmother who simply asked on Sunday afternoon over tea: 'what are those on your legs?' The item in question were my stone chinos from Tescos (seriously, do not underestimate the power of supermarket clothing) of which i rotating like crazy, due to the crazy nature of summer being a rainfest, and i cannot succumb to black tights in the middle of July, and breathe.

Navy Faux Fur Wool Coat - Topshop (£75.00)

Its never to early to snap up the ideal winter coat, even at retarded inflated prices. Whats not to love? A faux fur trim and navy, swoon.

Any of these pieces take your fancy?

The Lust List -25th September 2010

Sunday, September 26, 2010

this lust list is rather short - what can i say? i'm not greedy.
yes please.

Mui Mui Suede Strappy Platform Sandals - (£370.00)

these are too beautiful.

Christian Louboutin Spiked Ballerina Flats - (£625.00)

my chosen weapon of choice, how fierce!

Hermés Enamel Bracelet - (£380.00)

lust, lust, lust.
i'd sell my brother for this (again.)

this bag is currently what i'm saving my pennies for, oh yes.
as much as i love the studs i don't think i'm that much of a dedicated saver,
plus my father might just have a heart attack at the price.
lets wait till the christmas sales, yeah?

Mui Mui Studded Leather Bag - (£1,200.00)

(yeah, and i just said the 'c' word, gotta plan early.)

The Lust List -28th August 2010

because i want winter now.

i adore a well tailored pair of shorts.

so bloody cute.

i already own two pairs of shoe boots, do i wear the? no, but that's beyond the point.

i have been eyeing up these type of jackets - what a way to add some jazz to a black shift.

you see that price? they can sit looking good on display for that price.

The Lust List - 9th August 2010

Monday, August 9, 2010

So yes, this mornings outfit post was an epic fail, queue the bird-nest hair and i've decided i hate everything i own. Yet however it is a Monday.

so expensive, but how freeking cute are those fur pom poms?

my poor mother and a friend of mine, are bombarded every year with the umming and ahhhing over Topshop winter boots.. this year i will finally stop faffing around and buy a bloody pair.

i don't know if i've just picked this because i've spent the last two weeks in an office, thoughts?

i nearly peed myself at Christmas over these brush sets, until they sold out. a) they are far too cute b) they are a lot cheaper than buying them separately - i'm not going to discriminate over size! c) i think i've already sold them to myself.

well if i'm going to buy the face brushes, i might as well buy the eye brush set. ;)

have you ever bought the gift-sets of Mac brushes, thoughts please?

My week at Stylist flew by so quickly, a good sign! I have the weekend off, so i plan to divulge in some H&M shopping and blogging. Be there!

The Lust List - 28th June 2010

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

I haven't compiled a Lust List for quite a while, simply because i haven't lusted over anything, oh how depressing of me! Autumn/Winter is far more exciting i think, or maybe i'm just bitter that i didn't have the excuse of a holiday this year to bulk buy those floral, frilly, coral, chiffon, floaty summer clothes, boo!

But never the less, there a quite a few in-between season pieces floating about in Topshop, hence why the list is basically compiled of Topshop..

This khaki green sequin top looks absolutely fabulous in real life, but online it just looks crap. It would look super fierce with a tan (i feel like i always say this?) and some black skinnies, neither of which i am or own. So although i'm lusting from afar, this can stay looking pretty instore, and with that price tag, my purse can sigh a breath of relief.

Back to basics, with all the printed and tailored skirts and shorts i own, i need some thing to balance it out. And nothing beats the feeling of a brand new, fresh white teeshirt. With the rolled up sleeves and cute pocket are simple yet good added details.

I adore this skirt. Is it because it sparkles? It is because it looks worn out? I don't know, i just want it.
I'd buy it for £45, even with student discount, thats a pricey skirt. Although a similar skirt is selling All Saints for £130, mmh.

I'm buying these without a doubt, i just love the powdery, dusky pink and they are tailored. Effortless.

I think this is one of those dresses that looks naff on the hanger, so you bypass it. Then two weeks later, you see some one actually wearing it, and you kick yourself because it actually looks amazing on. This dress is that dress. Yet - i will not be trying it on, just because i know i will buy it. hah.

I know people find Topshop rather pricey, i suppose i look slightly past that because i have student discount (my love for NUS will never die) but just looking at these items, i really think they have notched up the prices. Even still, i think i will still go on to purchase, would you?

The Lust List - 11th April 2010

Sunday, April 11, 2010

Here are a few things i've been lusting after, not much online sadly, but instore i've seen some really really pretty bits and pieces.

I really don't know if i can justify a £17.00 lipgloss, considering i'm crap at remembering to apply. However, how gorgeous is this colour? Plus it isn't some outlandish colour that i will go off next month, its a played safe colour for anything.

I think i just sold it to myself. Have you tried this? What are your thoughts?
Unfortunately i wasn't blessed with the thickest of eyebrows, infact there hardly there. Unlike what people instantly assume, i did not, i repeat, i did not over pluck (or shave, bloody rude). And with a brief encounter with the most dramatic Mac assistants, who simply screamed where had my eye brows ran off too? He promptly drew some on. I'm not going to lie, they looked horrendous. My eyebrows are fair, don't run through them with a brown pencil. tsk.

So after much eyebrow pencil research, i think i'm gunna have to head over to Laura Mercier, to try the BLONDE pencil. Watch this space.

cute, cute, cute.
romantic, romantic, romantic.
at first i though these sandals were fug, but i actually have a new found love for them. i don't want to just live in pumps this summer and these are perfect for my interning stint. plus, they will go with everything, yes?

nude heels, a must.
with a hidden platform shh (easier to walk in)
i have been pondering over this for a few weeks, it also comes in a shell pink satin, that i have also had my eye on. i'm in love with the print and the overall 'girlie-ness.'

Does any one know if i can still get hold of Cherries in the Snow Lipstick by Revlon? I'm feeling hot pink reddish lip, with a freshly dyed brunette do!

I'm going on a few shopping expeditions this week, so expect some hauledge!

The Lust List - 28th February 2010

Sunday, February 28, 2010
My apologies for this being the first Lust List of 2010! I decided to wait a while for all the spring/summer bits and pieces to start flittering in stores. Due to banning myself from spending anything on clothes (which i failed at quite miserably at - see post above) i have been concentrating majorly on my university work -boo! - hence at lack of posts.

And now i'm longing for some retail therapy and some sunshine, pretty please? I even attempted to fake tan this evening, in order to look slightly healthy rather than looking my deathly, usual self. But right now instead of getting on with work, i'm just freeking out about waking up tomorrow and finding out i've been tangoed overnight, looking like all the orange girls who adorn my facebook (do they seriously think orange looks good? not understanding that! maybe they think its normal?) and finally spending the whole day at work tomorrow smelling of fake tan, which weirdly smells like tropicana fruit juice..

Anyway! this post is practically an online shopping list for me - oddly quite therapeutic.

I need these silk vests in my life, damn you Mr New Look, please re-stock them! These are perfect for hot summer days in the city! of course, with a real tan.

Im living in tube skirts, the savior of in-between seasons. Do i possibly need another lace skirt, yes?

I love this print, weird but wonderful?

THESE SHORTS ARE AMAZING, silk, cream, shorts, they may have well walked off the Lanvin catwalks!

The clever genius at Topshop have released this rouched Burberry inspired dress in baby pink and blue too, as well as cream. Why not own all three?

Short but sweet.
