I have two thoughts of the day, of which i thought i would share. 

The Outnet Clearance Sale

When i first read about this, my heart practically skipped a beat with excitement, then came a tumbling long sigh. The Outnet, sister discounted site of Net-A-Poter, have announced that on Friday they will be hosting a clearance sale. Whilst i have my virtual elbows at the ready, with thoughts of heavily discounted Marc Jacobs - lets just cast our minds back to the fiasco of their birthday sale last year - where items were sold for just a single pound. Of course, every girl and their grandmother logged on after weeks of press coverage, and down went their pissing servers - causing most computers to crash. You can clearly tell i'm still slightly bitter at nearly having that £1,200 Chloe coat so close in my grasps.

Anyway, putting said grudge aside. Their second birthday will be, fingers crossed, a more calm affair. With little press coverage only going live today, lets hope we are in with a chance of bagging something delightful, with prices being discounted heavily with up to 85% off. Simply sign up to the emails to be alerted to when it goes live Friday, until it ends on Monday. I wonder if they will be adding new stock each day? (Watch this space)

Peacock's 'Budget' Line

Now i work for the company itself, and quite frankly i don't particularly want to get my P45 for a libellous blog post. I will however present you with some interesting food for thought. Peacocks will be launching a new 'budget boutique' in two weeks, which will feature many inspired looks and designs taken from the catwalks. However, there is a fine line between inspiration and simply creating replica dresses. 

Peacocks have stated that their designs will fool even the most canny of fashion critics, using the same high-end designs, but not the expensive fabrics. Antonella Bettley, head women's wear comments ‘This range is exceptional value. For a low budget price you’re getting fabulous tailoring, with lots of fabric and attention to fashion forward details. There is no need to pay the earth for fabulous design.’

With other high-street retailers paying the price for copy-cat designs in the past, most notably when Chloe forced Topshop to destroy a thousand similar pairs of yellow dungarees and Primark being threatened with legal action every five minutes; should Peacocks be so confident about their new 'budget' range? Is it just borderline lazy copying or genius? Should you be the brand known for just re-producing catwalk designs to the masses, in such a blatant manner?

Thought of the Day.

You're either gonna hate me, or totally understand what i mean with my following thought of the day. 

It's like Marmite, you either totally understand the fascination, grasp this latest trend; or like me, you step back and think, how freaking ugly. As was with my utter discomfort of wet-look leggings, my latest dislike is two particular jewellery brands. Both Links of London and Pandora bracelets somewhat horrify me, in terms that I think they are over-priced mess of uglyness and that people flock towards them. They aren't classic, delicate or even making a statement. I genuinely think they are just fug. 

The Pandora bracelets are the ugly-step-sister of the charm bracelet, even a little creepy looking. And the fact that you can only really afford a few proper charms to fill it, leaves it rather sad looking.

The Links of London friend-ship bracelets look slightly weird too, i mean - i'm not going to lie, they look like a souvenir from a holiday flea market, not a high-end jewelers? I just find them ODD.

What can i say? They just baffle me - i just don't get the hype. After asking on Twitter whether i was the only one who thought this, the general consensus was, that other people thought the same too. These are my personal thoughts and taste, but i apologise sincerely, if you do own one of these bracelets, however don't get your kickers in a twist ;)

Wearing Glasses.

Last week as per usual i pick up my copy of Look magazine to read on my lunch break, casually flicking through there was a double page spread written by the editor Ali Hall on the subject of laser eye surgery. It was an interesting read about her before/after transformation with laser eye surgery, after reading on i came across the phrase which went along the lines of '..and who wants to spoil their bikini look wearing specs? It's not very Kelly Brook.' This article caused quite a stir on my Twitter feed and i think that phrase is a tad bizzarre. Normally, i couldn't give a toss about some one's opinion on body-weight/ skin/ hair styles, but i think this was pretty careless throw-away comment without any intention to offend, but it got me thinking.

I'm blind as a bat, yet i never wear my glasses. Not because i don't like them, i just haven't got used to them or needed to rely on them fully yet, but on the other hand i still wouldn't want to wear them constantly. Like Ali Hall, i am interested in laser eye surgery. My mum had the underwent the process and hasn't looked back (baha bad pun), practically transforming her life. I personally think that it's amazing, sure i think it's a bit creepy and gross, but for 10 minutes of weirdness - it is worth the perfect vision. As soon as my eye sight levels to a certain point, i will definitely seek this treatment out, regardless of the cost.

But for the mean time, i should definitely embrace wearing my glasses more, even if i look like an eight-eyed freak watched 3D films, i personally couldn't give a toss about swaning about on a beach like Kelly Brook!

Suri Cruise is the most adorable celeb child and her dress sense is pretty stylishh for a three year old! Check out those sparkly silver heels, practicing for a pretty pair of Manoloes? The bit that i can't quite understand is how the the hell a three year old can muster the art of walking in heels while i can only handle a brisk jog where i look like i'm disabled? Oh the shame.

OH! this made me chuckle. I seriously hope that Miss Alexa Chung isn't thinking..

'Bloody hell, where do i know this women from? With that freaky hair style and sun glasses indoors?'

That would be Anna Wintour. Bang goes your Vogue cover, Miss Chung.

Clearly fashion brings everyone together, after bitchy, acid tongued Naomi Campbell sarcastically asked Victoria why she was called 'Posh' Spice which prompted Victoria to call her a 'massive cow'!
