So it's still super cold out, but i'm so excited to learn about the new seasons trends and shopping.

London Fashion Week is quickly approaching, and i've had a sneak peak at what to expect for this season.

A designer that has won me over is the Internationally acclaimed British designer Julien Macdonald whose designs are sexy, elegant and liberating.

Julien SS11 collection uses frilled dresses with a soft colour palette, constructed from layers of feather light chiffon giving the collection the perfect sweet and sexy balance.

Oh and before i go i would just like to say how much i'm loving his version of the Aviator Jacket. Look at the lining, looks so soft and fluffy!! :-)

Brighton Fashion Weeks Ready to Wear show proved a huge success for About the Girl, where we stood out as the only lingerie brand in the show.

The models looked stunning as they glide down the catwalk in About the Girls bold yet elegant creations, which comprised of bras, knickers matching camisoles and slips.

The vintage music and sophisticated styling transported the audience back another era reminiscent of old style glamour and iconic silver screen idols.

The fashionable audience and industry professionals alike, loved About the Girls new designs. Following this positive attention About the Girl has been nominated for New Designer of the Year at this years UK Lingerie Awards. But we need your votes, all you have to do is enter the link:

Despite the fact this metallic jumper is actually children's wear, and i'll say it is slightly 'cropped' - it is my new love. Now i'm off to do some serious spring online window shopping, then get ready for my first Zumba class on Monday (if i keep it up good excuse to buy these, no?) and plan my outfit for Ted Baker S/S Press Day on Wednesday that one of my bff's is organising, exciting!
